Santa came early at Henryetta school Wednesday as the Henryetta Education Foundation distributed over $13,000 in grants to teachers.
The funding comes from donations by individuals and the annual fundraising program carried on by the Foundation.
It covers everything from added books to classroom equipment that provides additional learning opportunities for the students.
Funding this year went to: Mataya Hares, Micki Story, Andrea Spurlock, Pamela Palmer, Dawn DeBock, Jennifer Huckabay and Julie Watson, Laura Goodner and Justin Been, Beverly Kiehl, Laura Morris, Kelly James, Darla James, Donna McFerran and Venassa Danker.
“We are always trying to improve the learning opportunities for our students and these grants help expand the normal classroom experience,” said Foundation president McCullough.
