Roy Ann Cecrle, a resident of Tulsa, died Jan. 16, 2023 in Tulsa at the age of 90. She was born April 2, 1932, in Okmulgee to Roy Lee Johnson Ross abd Klara Ellig Ross. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, Ralph Ross and husband,
David John Cecrle.
She graduated from Henryetta High in 1950, took classes in typing and shorthand at Okmulgee Tech, and attended Wichita University, Wichita, Ks. Roy Ann retired at 80 years of age; finishing many years of work she began in 1950. She worked in Oklahoma City, at Pittsburg Plate Glass in Henryetta, Mary Mahoney Medical Center, Sears and the Henryetta Freelance newspaper. She worked as a payroll clerk, bookkeeper, private and commercial business clerk, office manager, receptionist, administrative assistant and retail clerk to name a few. She served on the Henryetta Board of Education for 5 ½ yrs.
She married David John Cecrle in Wichita May 4, 1957.
She is survived by her children: Joy Taylor abd husband Kenny of Tulsa, Ruth Jackson abd husband John of Estacada, OR, Jonathan Cecrle and wife, Barbara of Broken Arrow, Andrew Cecrle abd wife, Donella of Ft. Worth, TX Joseph Cecrle of Oklahoma City: grandchildren: John M. Jackson and wife, Cynthia of Estacada, Jedidah Jackson of Estacada, Joshua Roscoe of Tulsa, Klarissa Foster and husband, Nathan of Bixby, Alex Cecrle of Oklahoma City, Hannah Cecrle of Tulsa, Camden Cecrle of Seattle, WA; Emily and Alayna Cecrle of Oklahoma City, Zane and Rose Cecrle of Ft Worth, Brian Taylor and wife, Jessica of Broken Arrow, Jason Taylor and wife, Laura of Elizabethtown, KY and Daniel Taylor of Tulsa; great-grandchildren: Max and Adalyn Taylor of Broken Arrow, Everett abd Cadence Taylor of Elizabethtown, Ariel and Jordan Foster of Bixby, and Levi Jackson of Estacada; nephews: James Ross and wife, Enid of Austin, TX, Jeffery Ross abd wife Lisa of Apex, NC, Joel Ross and wife Aileen of Durham, NC, Jerry Ross and wife Pamela Dallas TX; brother-in-law Benjamin Cecrle abd wife, Joan of West Melbourne FL, sister-in-law Lulu Goddard of Niles MI; brother-in-law, Charles Cecrle and wife Joyce of West Melbourne, FL, brother-in-law, Samuel Cecrle of Walkerton, IN; also, many cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends and church
family.
Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan, 18, 2023 and from 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 19 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the United Pentecostal Church.
Pallbearers will be John Matthew Jackson, Joshua Ross Roscoe, Alexander Cecrle, Camden Cecrle, Zane Cecrle, and Nathan Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Taylor, Jason Taylor and Daniel Taylor.
