henryetta home

Many people call Henryetta home. No matter if they are living here now or have family roots in the community, his is their home.
That feeling, that pride is going to be celebrated this year at the annual chamber of commerce banquet with the theme, “Make Henryetta Home.”
This year the annual banquet will be held at the Henryetta civic center Feb. 20 starting at 6 p.m.
During the evening, a special silent auction will be held with prizes available from a number of local businesses. The auction will be conducted differently with bidders able to purchase tickets then deposit them in a container in front of the item that soaked there interest. A winning ticket will be drawn out from each container.
“We wanted to make this change because a lot of people would like to have an opportunity to obtain one of those gifts but, too often those bids would be well above what someone would want to pay,” said incoming present Jeremy Roberts.
Members of the HHS theatre will be on hand to provide some entertainment and H-Town Theatre head Justin Been will be the guest speaker.
Throughout the evening special awards will be presented to individuals and organizations who have made local residents as well as visitors feel at home.
The dinner will be catered by Harvey Q’s barbecue. Tickets are $25 each and are available at the Chamber of Commerce office at 415 West Main or from chamber board members.
