Thursday was a case of ups and downs for the Lady Knights as they easily defeated Mounds then lost to a strong Prague team.
In the first game, the HHS girls started off with five runs in the first inning using several Mounds errors and HHS RBIs.
They would add four more in the second and five in the third to solidify the lead and fight off a short-lived push for the win.
They Lady Knights posted 15 hits, five of them doubles by Winter Beaver, Mckayla Greenhaw, Shelby Kilhoffer, Kassidy Lee and Ailanee Hicks.
Hicks did the pitching for Henryetta allowing nine hits, three walks and eight runs.
In the second game, the lady Knights were unable to score until the third inning. Already down 12-0, that run came on a double by Greenhaw scoring Gracie Lollis.
RBI hits by Haley Lewis and Lollis would put the final two runs on the Henryetta side of the board in the fourth inning.
Prague had ten hits in the game while the Lady Knights had five.
