Thomas “Tommy” Allen Thompson, longtime Seminole County resident, died May 14, 2023 at SSM Health Hospital in Seminole at the age of 62.
Tommy was born Feb. 19, 1961 in Henryetta to Logan Noel and Wanola Lavada (Cozad) Thompson. He married Leah (Emmitt) in 2001 and they resided in the Seminole and Bowlegs area ever since.
Tommy was a lifelong truck driver. He was working for Farmers Oil of Anthony, Kansas at the time of his passing.
Surviving Tommy are his wife Leah of the home; children: Brittany Bolles and husband Sam, Brett Jones, Jr and wife Victoria; grandchildren: Bretlea, Kanon and Everly Bolles and Grace and Ella Jones; two sisters, Dr. Pamela Corvelli and Kathy Elwood and husband Andy; nieces and nephews: Debbie Summers and husband Mike and their children, Aubrey, Isabella, Alicezandra, Mara and Mikey, Darrin Pike and his kids, Autumn and Shelby; Kenny Pike and daughter Amanda, Joyce Gooding and husband Tim and their children Cody, Josh, Zach, Rebecca and Garett, Jackie Brown and husband Tim and their children Katherine, Stephanie and Sydney, and a host of other family and dear friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Logan and Wanola Thompson; one brother, Alvin Lee Frank and a nephew, Alvin Lee Frank, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at Temple of Praise PCG, 1100 N. University St. in Seminole at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Nance officiating.
A viewing will be held Friday morning at the church from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Jones, Jr., Sam Bolles, Dusty Emmitt, Blake Emmitt, Tim Emmitt and Ryan Emmitt.
Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens east of Seminole.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
