checotah city logoAfter a month-long investigation, the OSBI and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics arrested a Checotah K9 police officer.
According to the OSBI Saturday, Matthew Benton LaMasters, 35, was booked into the McIntosh County Jail on a complaint of obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud.
The investigation started when police chief Darren Glover requested the OSBI investigation. LaMasters was arrested following an interview with agents.
No specifics on the drugs taken or amounts were given by the OSBI.
