Hutchins is a 2023 Weleetka high school graduate and the son of Robert and Carmen Hutchins.In making the announcement, AEB president Keith Hare said the scholarship was established in 2016 in memory of Donald Wells, former American Exchange Bank President and CEO. “It is a four-year award worth up to $9,000 payable at $1,000 per semester with $1,000 given upon receipt of verification of enrollment in the first semester of college,” he said.
Hutchins was also awarded a paid internship with AEB.
