Reading is an adventure and the Henryetta public library wants to make this summer an adventurous one.
The summer reading program starts registration May 28 and is open to boys and girls from first through fifth grade.
Each Monday in June and the first and second Mondays in July the children will meet at the library from 1:30 to 2:30. At that time they will participate in reading as well as crafts and activities.
Joann Hott, Henryetta librarian, said the program is free to all children.
She pointed out the children will also be eligible to receive prizes including National Geographic subscriptions.
