Max Eugene Cline, a longtime resident of the Pharoah area, died May 4, 2024 in Okmulgee at the age of 90. He was born April 1, 1934, in Wewoka to Orville and Bessie Cline.
Max grew up in an area north of Pharoah called Sunrise. After completing the 8th grade, he attended Spring Hill School located in Pharoah. He farmed with his father and brother.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 23 years, Donna of the home; one son, Ronnie Cline and wife Cherry; one daughter, Sherry Ray; stepdaughter, Teri James of the home; stepson, Darren James and wife Ronda Lynn of Modesto, California; grandsons, Chad Cruce and wife Amanda, Brandon and wife Sarah, Brett and wife Jessica and Chris Ray and wife Beverly; granddaughter, Jennifer Hunter and husband Ron; 11 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and one nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter, Angela; his beloved first wife, Wanda; one brother, William “Bill” Cline and one sister, Iva Jean Miller.
A memorial service will be held June 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Dewar.
