The fellowship hall at the First Christian Church was packed with diners wanting to make a difference this week.
Plates were piled high with Indian tacos with the proceeds going to help church member Laurie Hall with medical expenses.
The doors opened at 5 p.m. and the turnout so great that a long line formed early and food quickly disappeared.
"This was a great turnout," said pastor Jerrod Dumond. "Over 300 people came to show their support for one of their own. We had people from the entire community, not just our church."
