Every year the Henryetta Food Pantry at the Church of Christ provides meals for people who would otherwise go hungry.
A bean dinner is scheduled Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Tulledega Masonic Lodge to keep the pantry shelves stocked.
Set from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the dinner will be an all-you-can-eat meal for $5. On the menu will be beans, cornbread, slaw and a variety of desserts.
The lodge hall is at 402 East Trudgeon.
