Henryetta's cross country runners had to settle for the middle of the pack at the Oklahoma Baptist University meet this past Saturday.
The HHS girls team came in 13th place while the boys finished in 14. Henryetta Middle School runners wound up with the girls in 14th overall and the boys placing 13th.
middle school trackIn the individual results, Daisy VanMeter missed out on first place by eight seconds, finishing behind Lincoln Christian's Alyssa Solberg with a time of 11:48.36.
Mya Powders came in 25th place while Holly Stuart was 92nd, Mackenzie Freeman in 128th and Brianna Counts, 151st.
The boys 5K run saw Mason Martin go the distance in 18:29.41 that set him in 46th place. Brayden Smithson came in 74th while Pepper Logan was 106th, Nick Pak, 115th, Garett Witt, 134th, Kalil Lewis 135th and Bailey Graffman 156th.
In the middle school 5K, Gabe Grass was four minutes out of the top three spots with a 22:10 time that put him in 64th place. Micah Lowe was 75th, Jerad Fife 108th and Michael Haney 112th.
In the boys 3200 meter run, Austin Green was 15th while Kanon Bailey, Tevor King, Riley Floyd, Phillip Fisher, Blake Nash, Riley Padgett, James martin, Braden Cook, Cody Kearns, Sam Crow and Tanner Bullard all added to the overall point totals.
The girls 2400 meter run had Bailee Warlow finish in 41st place with a 10:28.09. She was less than two minutes out of the top three spots. Bayliegh Nye was behind her with a 10:43.26 for 63rd place.
