Betty Huddart, age 79, of Okmulgee, was called home 

to be with the Lord on the 23rd of May, 2025. She was born to the late Felix and Florence (Palmer) Tiger on the 24th of January, 1946, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Betty was a woman of faith and virtue, who walked alongside her husband, Bill Huddart, in marriage and ministry since their union on the 29th of May, 1965, in Henryetta.

As the devoted pastor’s wife at Faith Baptist Church in Okmulgee, Betty provided unwavering support and care to her church family. Her professional life was marked by her diligent work in housekeeping at the Henryetta Hospital, where she served with kindness and dedication.
Betty now reunites in Heaven with her beloved husband, Bill, her dear daughter, Melinda Dobson, her brothers, Irvine and Abe Tiger, and her sister, Katie Tiger, who preceded her in passing.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her daughters, Felicia Barron with her husband Mike of Morris, and Teresa Bourne of Henryetta. Her memory will be treasured by her grandchildren: Pamela and Adrian Cyprian of Tulsa; Jill and Derek Boswell of Henryetta; Aron and Tierra Dobson of Okmulgee; Sandy and Josh Cason of Muskogee; Allen Terry of Henryetta; Stephanie Terry of Henryetta; Shane Dobson of Okmulgee; and Kayla and Caleb Woodward of Okmulgee and 17 Great Grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her sisters, Shirley Waldroop of Henryetta, Barbara Schenck of Indiana, and Ramona Snelson of Morris.
The family invites friends and loved ones to a funeral service honoring Betty’s life, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be officiated by Rev. A.J. Tiger. Following the service, Betty will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery, with arrangements lovingly made by Rogers Funeral Home.
