Glenda Sue Silkwood January 22, 1954

Glenda Sue Silkwood, a longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. She was born on January 22, 1954, in Henryetta to Curtis Hendrix and Hazel (Thompson) Hendrix.

Glenda was known for her talent in the kitchen and took great joy in cooking for those she loved. She also enjoyed playing bingo and was an enthusiastic fan of WWE wrestling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Brinkley; Charles Silkwood, the father of her three sons; and her brother-in-law, Billy Umsted.

Glenda is survived by her sons, Scott Silkwood and his wife Brandi, Mike Silkwood and his fiancée Emily Lueking, and Kevin Silkwood and his wife Tish; seven grandchildren, Sierra, Shayna, Saige, Michael Jr., Logan, Blake, and Pasly; nine great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Danny Hendrix, Lonnie Hendrix, Sheila Umsted, Linda Salyer and husband Frank, Larry Hendrix and wife Carolyn, and Jimmy Thompson and wife Marilyn, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be from 5-8 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2025 located at Integrity Funeral Service.

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 10:00 am located in the Integrity Chapel.
