hudson torn Nearly three months after a wind storm ripped off part of the aluminum front on the Hudson Building on Main Street, the original design is once being viewed by the public. Workers spent nearly five hours Sunday night removing much of the siding to prevent further destruction. No plans for renovation have been announced by building owners Jack and Jill Francis.
The building is between Fourth and Fifth Streets and stands next to the one-time Citizens Bank building that was also completed in 1905. Both buildings feature arched windows and the decorative brick trim that was so popular during that period.
