Bill Goodner is spearheading an effort to update the plaque of honor on the Doughboy statue. 
"The Doughboy plaque listing the area's KIA servicemen doesn't include the men killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan," he said Sunday. "I'm on the agenda at Tuesday's council meeting to ask for funding for an updated plaque."
Goodner said the names of Tony Potter and Tony Randolph needed to be added to the names of 83 other servicemen killed in World Wars One and Two, the Korean War and Vietnam.
"If anyone knows others who needed to be included, please call me at 918-652-7103 and leave me a message."
Goodner said he would like to have the plaque ready for a July 4 installation ceremony.
The original plaque is dedicated, "To the memory of all in this area who paid the supreme sacrifice in all wars." It was placed on the statue base in 1991.
