The Crosby's Crew Relay for Life team provided a spaghetti dinner Sunday at the Henryetta Masonic Lodge. By the time the food ran out an hour ahead of the projected closing time, over $2,300 had been raised.
That dinner included spaghetti and meatballs and provided special gift baskets for a silent auction. Half of the proceeds will be used to help Henryetta high school student Nate George. He is currently battling cancer and undergoing treatment in New York.
The other half of the money raised will be presented during the annual Relay For Life celebration scheduled April 8 at the Henryetta football field.
