Thehenryettan.com will be partnering with the Free Lance to hold a pair of city council candidate forums this month.
Set at the Henryetta city hall, the first forum will feature Ward 1 candidates March 19. The second forum for the Ward 2 candidates will be held March 26. Both will start at 6:30 p.m.
Candidates at each forum will be asked a series of questions from Thehenryettan.com and the newspaper.
The public is invited to attend. Both forums will be streamed live at thehenryettan.com website as well as recorded for later presentation.
The city council election will be held April 7.
Candidates for the Ward 1 position include Shannon Scott, Michelle Broome Stremme and Darrell Coppedge.
Ward 2 candidates are Christy Jeffcoat, Lucy Peoples and Richard Larney.
