Daryl Gene Dunson, former resident of the Henryetta area, died March 6, 2015 in Phoenix, Ariz., at the age of 50.  Daryl was born Dec.31, 1964 to Eugene and Juanita Dunson of Henryetta.  
Daryl grew up in the Henryetta area and attended Henryetta Public Schools, graduating in 1983 from Henryetta High School.  Following high school, Daryl attended Northeast Oklahoma State University for several years.  Daryl moved to Phoenix, in 1985.  Daryl was employed by The American Express company where he specialized in corporate credit.  He worked faithfully for American Express for approximately 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his father.
Daryl is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Dunson and Adis Kurtesevic of Phoenix; a son, Daryl Dunson, Jr. and Breanna Orantes of Phoenix; three sisters, Wanda Chapo and husband Thomas of Tecumseh, Susan Bear of Oklahoma City, and Linda Irene of Stanley, New Mexico; two brothers, David Dunson and wife Lynn of Wetumka and Marty Dunson of Henryetta; and one grandchild, Daryl Gene Dunson, III; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family; and many good friends.
Wake Services for Daryl will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta with Gary Long and David Dunson officiating.  Interment will follow immediately at Thlopthlocco Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Matt Dunson, Thomas Dunson, Daryl Dunson, Jr., Adis Kurtesevic, Brad Lowe, and John Bear, Jr.   Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Chapo, Marvin Thurmond, Virgil Wade, Nathan McGirt, Wotko Long, and Wilbur Dickson.
