Darrell Coppedge is a candidate for Henreytta's Ward 1 city council position.
He says he was born into a military family and attended schools and colleges around the world.
A veteran of the US Air Force, he moved to Henryetta with his wife, Lara and eight children.
Since moving here he has been a co-owner of the Henryetta Inn and Dome and is a co-founder of Mediation Plus of Oklahoma. He also has a background in sales and marketing.
Coppedge says he wants to be on the council because, "I am passionate about our community.  I care about our community's rich history and our current need for economic and infrastructure reform.  I want Henryetta to grow and flourish for generations to come. In order to do so, Henryetta needs council members who are responsible and dedicated to the interests of the citizens."
Coppedge is the fourth candidate that has responded to letters from Thehenryettan.com sent to all the council candidates.
