Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta recently secured two Ysio Max digital X-ray machines, bringing the latest in radiologic technology to the hospital. These new X-ray machines offer patients time savings, reduced radiation exposure and clearer radiologic images.xray1
These Siemens machines utilize digital radiography, a form of X-ray imaging in which digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film.
“This new technology allows us to achieve the best image quality in the shortest amount of time, reducing our patients’ exposure to radiation and shortening their time in our imaging department,” explained Janna Duggan, Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta radiology manager.
One of the Ysio Max units is mobile, enabling the machine to be transported directly to the patient, increasing convenience for the patient and provider. This is particularly useful in the hospital’s emergency department.
