Voters turned out in near record numbers across Okmulgee County Tuesday with the medical marijuana State Question being the largest draw.
That issue passed by a near 1,400-vote margin. A total of 4,787 voters gave their approval in the county while 3,406 voted against it.
The one local race for District 3 County Commissioner was won by incumbent James Connors with 747 votes. Challenger Millard Wayne Spears had 444 votes.
