Ramona Tiger, a resident of Weleetka, died Dec. 28, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 62. She was born Dec. 24, 1956 in Claremore to Amos Tiger and Helen (Floyd) Tiger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Amos Tiger, brother, Charles Tiger, and by her niece, Amanda Durden.
Ramona is survived by her mother, Helen Tiger of Weleetka; three brothers: Ronald Tiger and fiance Debra LaPointe of Broken Arrow, Kenneth Tiger of Weleetka, and Keith Tiger of Weleetka; two sisters: Christine Durden of Morris, and Ann Tiger of Chester Field, Virginia,; nieces and nephews: Cecelia Leybas, Carly Tiger, Cynthia Tiger, Ethan Druden, Terrence Tiger, Hailey Cooley, Hannah Cooley, Olivia Aldridge and Julie Ann Burns, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Terrence Tiger, Chester Chotkey, Jimsey Micco, Michael Mannley, Jermaine Cooley and Vincent Edge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronald Tiger, Kenneth Tiger, Keith Tiger, Monroe Harjo, Ethan Durden, Martin LaPointe, and James Floyd.
Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Hutchechuppa Indian Baptist Church in rural Weleetka with Rev. Curtis Chotkey, officiating. Interment will follow at Hutchechuppa Indian Baptist Church Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
