Henryetta will have one musician going to the state choir contest.
Tyler Sisson scored a superior rating at the district solo and ensemble contest in Tahlequah Saturday.
During the day-long competition, HHS choir members also piled on the excellent scores.
Sisson, Leia Howton and Emma Sontag scored excellent in the mixed trio.
Howton, Sontag, Alison Dombek and Jaden Simpson received excellent marks in the solo judging.
Henryetta’s middle school soloist Jasmine Cantrell received a superior rating.
The eighth grade girls ensemble of Nicole Noah, Mahaley Robinson, Paige Huddleston and Andrea Wade had excellent marks.
“I am proud of every one of our choir members,” said choir director Karen Willis. “They worked hard and it showed this weekend.”
