Verdel Alston, a Henryetta resident, died Nov. 13, 2020 in Henryetta at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Herman Arvel and Katie Oleta Alston, brother Jimmie Lee Alston, Sr., and nephew Jimmie Lee Alston, Jr.
He is survived by his son: Jeffrey Del Alston and daughter Deanna Alston Lambert; three grandchildren: Jimmy Lambert, Ashley Charboneau, and Logan Lambert; great grandchild: Scarlett O’Hara King; sister-in-law: Patricia Alston; nephew: Michael Alston and wife Wilma; niece: Christine Key and husband Jody.
