James Glenn Morgan, a resident of Okmulgee, died July 3, 2021 in Tulsa at the age of 83. He was born Oct. 27, 1937 in Naturia, Okla., to Earnest Otho Morgan and Mary (Martin) Morgan.
James proudly served in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge in 1962. He worked as a boilermaker for many years and was a member of the Boiler Maker's Union #592.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Mary Morgan, and one brother, Johnny Lee Morgan.
He is survived by his three children: Danny Lee Moran and wife Elizabeth of Okmulgee, James Lewis Morgan of Okmulgee, and Mary Morgan-Hill and husband Steven of Okmulgee; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sister, Alyne Morgan-Beaver of Beggs; special Sister, Betty Bruton of Beggs; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Wake Service are scheduled for Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Concharty Methodist Church in Okmulgee.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Concharty Methodist Church in Okmulgee. Interment will follow at the Bruner-Fleetwood Family Cemetery near Mounds. Military Honors will be conducted by the Muscogee Nation Honor Guard. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Eric Wilson, Wesley Robison, Pete McDaniels, John Morgan, Cody Laughlin, and John Lee Morgan III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ernie Morgan, Matt Robison, Kevin Rhoades, Joe Freeman, and Johnny Wilson.
