By just over a two to one margin, Dan Artussee was electede to finish out the District 3 County Commissioner term vacated by James Connor.
Artussee received 539 votes Tuesday compared to 251 for challenger Kathy George-Spears.
He carried all but three precincts in the general election, falling behind in Morris, Schulter and tied at Wilson. The early voting and absentee ballots leaned in his favor.
