Monday was a special day for a number of workers at Anchor Glass. The company values employees who have made the 92-year-old plant their career and recognized many of them at a special dinner.
Awards for service from five to 45 years were made by new plant manager Mushtaq AlGharrawi.

Five year awards: Montel McGee, Dana Ward, Michael Fields, Douglas Harding, Nicholas Noah, Austin Britt, James Howard, Brian Arnold, Cody Carroll, Buck Wadley, Colby Powders, Json Dock, Ashley Griffith, Justin Wright, Dustin Crabtree, Tara Hatcher, Michael Shanks, Tyler Gay, Brett Hawkins, Beau Lambert, Thomas Lucero and Terry McCracken.
Ten year awards: Kenneth Robertson, Angela fisher, Brian Davis, Brian McLeland, Gregory Upshaw, Donald Winn, Chad Chisum, Buddy Green and Roderick Harp.
15 year awards: Ramona Guess, Tammy Howk, Reggie Stanton, Donald Runyan, Bart Walker, James Whisenhunt, Bradley Jacobs, Brian Collect, Jared Kindell and Billy Vance.
