A six-month construction project was officially ended Thursday morning when members of the Muskogee Nation cut the ribbon on their remodeled Okemah Casino.
The casino started 21 years ago as a small electronic games facility recalled principal chief David Hill.
Work included a new parking lot facing I-40, updated interior and exterior and new conference room.
A number of tribal officials as well as state and Okemah city officials were on hand for the event.
