The Knights had probably one of the most, if not the most exciting game finishes this year Thursday at Preston.
Henryetta trailed as much as ten points behind the Pirates then came back after the half to take a 38-33 win.
The Knights were down 23-13 going into the third quarter then put on a stellar defense to allow the Pirates only five pints while posting nine points to get within one, 22-23 at the start of the fourth. Phillip Rice, Alex Hudson and Jordan Osterdock put the points on the board for the Knights in that quarter. By contrast, the Pirates could only come up with five.
The fourth quarter was owned by Henryetta with the Knights scoring 16 points while holding Preston to only five.
Under a minute remained in the game, Henryetta leading 36-31 when Ethan Palmer hit a pair of free throws.
It was down to the final minute of play with Henryetta leading by four when Henryetta fouled Johnson on a three point attempt. He would miss his three attempts then Henryetta's Ethan Palmer went to the free throw line hitting both shots for the winning margin.
Alex Hudson led the Henryetta scoring with 13 points with Nick Hudson adding eight, Rice for seven, Austin Palmer four and Ethan Palmer and Jordan Osterdock adding two each.
