HEDA members approved placing the 35 acre commercial property site west of town on LocateOK. That isa site selection service through the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. It would give the town more exposure about the property available if a business wanted to locate there.
A year ago developers had approached HEDA and the city about developing a travel center and motel on that property. Since then no activity has been accomplished.
Authority members will be changing the billboard phone number advertising that property which will direct any inquiries to the Chamber of Commerce.
