The Thursday night storm apparently had some circulation that destroyed three barns at the Tom Richeson home south of Henryetta. Richeson and his wife were in Tulsa when the storm hit and discovered the damage early Friday morning. The wind blew down a tree onto the house and ripped apart this barn. Another barn was completely flattened and thrown across a fence while large pieces of a tin roof on another outbuilding were scattered into the tops of trees. The high winds that accompanied the storm blew some shingles off of several roofs but this was the most serious damage reported in the area. Neighboring houses were not affected by this part of the storm.
