Next Tuesday is Election Day in Oklahoma but voters in Okmulgee County can cast their ballots early, according to county election board secretary Ashley Carnes.
She said early voting begins Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the county election board from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The early voting will take place again Friday, June 24 at the same times. Early voting cannot be held at the precinct locations around the county.
“You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early. Early voting is a great option for those who will be out of town on Election Day or who want to avoid long lines,” Carnes said. Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted through the State Election Board from school board and municipal elections to state, federal, and county elections.
