A second donation has been made to help with needed repairs to the old school house that is home to the Henryetta Territorial Museum.
First National Bank of Henryetta and Okmulgee has given $2,000 which, combined with an earlier donation by First Family Federal Credit Union, is expected to complete much-needed repairs on the 100-year-old building.
According to Henryetta Historical Society board member Brad Sellers work is expected to start thi sweek to replace the rear entry way and door on the building, construct a period-appropriate awning over the door and law the last tranche of bricks.
The group is also considering new decorative lighting to improve security at the museum.
