The Henryetta high school band room added another set of trophies and some band members chalked up more wins Saturday.
Competing in Oklahoma City, the band received superior and sweepstakes awards and nine band members were awarded outstanding individual trophies. Members of the trumpet section also picked up nine awards.
"This was a great achievement for the students. They put a lot of time into practice and it showed," said band director Alan Montgomery.
Trumpet second awards went to Angela Boswell, Gavin Chamberlain Joseph Grindr, Journey Hott, Abel Mendoza, Yosselin Suazo Bueso, Audrey Tatum, Japhen Travis and Devin Wofford
Bass awards went to Xanthus Butler, Asa Hall and Breana Navas.
