Acting on a tip, lawmen were able to arrest Christopher Harris Monday afternoon.
Harris was the subject of a manhunt since last Thursday after he is alleged to have shot Okmulgee police officer Dustin Clark.
According to the OSBI, Harris was captured at a room at the Bel Air motel in Okmulgee. When officers went to the room that was initially reported they failed to find him but found him in a second room.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Okmulgee County jail for shooting with intent to kill and a federal warrant.
Harris had been sought after officers responded to a call about an individual trying to break into a house in Okmulgee. When they arrived at the scene, Harris was said to have shot Clark then fled. He dropped the AK47-style rifle in a nearby yard. Authorities had searched the community for several days looking for him. Clark was treated for his injuries at a Tulsa hospital then released.
