This may look like a cluttered mess but, to many area residents each item can be an answer to health issues at home. The hospital equipment is located at the Henryetta VFW Post 539 and, for a number of years was provided only to veterans and their families. Post members have decided to help all residents who are in need of the equipment. "We have walkers, shower chairs, wheelchairs and even a couple of hospital beds at our post," said VFW commander Bill Goodner. "There are a lot of families that could use this equipment and we want to help them out whether they are a veteran or not." Many of the hospital items have been donated over the years and have been used by veterans then returned to the post. "If anyone needs some of this equipment, they should come by the post or contact any VFW officer," he said. The Henryetta VFW is located just north of the football field.
