These lights are not on a Christmas tree but they are almost as beautiful a sight along Lake Road. PSO workers installed several new poles and added brighter LED lights to others making what was a dark strip of highway into a bright, easy to navigate road. This is the first step of a project that is designed to put street lights all the way to the end of the city limits at Chickasaw Street. Another improvement for that area is possibly installation of a sidewalk making it easier for pedestrians and bicycles to move along without fear of being hit.
