Kenneth Cook, a resident of rural Henryetta died Jan. 23, 2024 at his home at the age of 97. He was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Onapa to Lucky Marshall and Bertha Mae (Morris) Cook.
Kenneth married Virgie Rose on November 19, 1948 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and together they shared 75 years together.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Ray Cook and his wife Sandy of Claremore and Marshall Lee Cook and wife Crystalyn of Henryetta; four grandchildren: Michael Cook of Tulsa, Glenn Cook of New Jersey, Alicia Cook of Tulsa, and Jeb Cook of Henryetta; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Marshall Cook, and his sister Maxine Junger.
He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. Kenneth worked as an auto mechanic. He was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Henryetta.
At the request of Kenneth, no services will be held at this time.
Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
