Joan Pritchett Watzke died March 24, 2014, at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, at the age of 80.  Joan was born July 1933 in Henryetta, the youngest daughter of James and Arta (Pritchett) Watzke.  She graduated from Henryetta High School in 1951, then attended Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College (now OSU) for two years, studying music.  She completed her teaching degree in music at Southwest Minnesota State University in 1979. Joan was a piano teacher for many years, helping scores of budding musicians develop their skills.  She was the organist for Grace Episcopal Church in Henryetta for many years.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, James and Arta Watzke, and two sisters, Anna Margaret Gibson and Betty Sue Watzke.  
Joan is survived by two sons, David and wife Yvonne Henry of Dallas, Tx., and Thomas Henry of St. Paul, MN; daughter, Karen Henry of Arlington, Tex.; granddaughter, Jazmin Hedges of Minneapolis five little grand-Dachshunds, Ziggy of Dallas, and Tulsa, Couper, Casey and Wilco of Arlington; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
