Local Entrepreneur Launches New Fall Festival in Henryetta By Aubrey Eyrolles

A new fall festival is coming to Henryetta on October 17th at City Gazebo Park. The organizer, Jennifer Corbin, is a woman with a plan. As the owner of Sweet Nomnom’s Bakery, she has a lot of experience as a vendor at farmers markets, festivals, and pop up events. Using that experience, she decided to launch Henryetta Hallow, a new fall festival that she hopes will be a yearly tradition. According to Jennifer, “Henryetta Hallow will be very community oriented and very arts oriented. It truly has something for every type of person, making it perfect for the whole family.”
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jennifer launched Sweet Nomnom’s in 2012. She was inspired to launch the business because her four children were always asking for special birthday cakes with pictures on them. With Jennifer’s husband at a low pay grade in the Navy, they could not afford to buy those cakes. Instead of buying them, Jennifer decided to learn how to make them on her own. From there, she started making special cakes for her children as well as her nieces and nephews. Jennifer then decided to launch her small business making baked goods for everybody.
Jennifer makes cookies, cake balls, cakes, and select specialty items. She also makes simple wedding cakes. Her business is very family-oriented, and one of the key people who helps Sweet Nomnom’s thrive is her 17-year-old son, who has epilepsy. He helps her pack and unload her car, and he helps her set up her booth at events. Jennifer’s favorite part of the business is meeting people and having them fall in love with her cookies.
When it comes to Henryetta Hallow, Jennifer was inspired by the TV show “Gilmore Girls.” Fall is a very special time in Stars Hollow, which is the fictional town where the TV show is set, and Jennifer wanted to create a similar magical feeling around Henryetta. “Farmer’s markets are good and pop ups are good, but I wanted to create a new fall festival where you can spend at least two hours in the vicinity of the festival and have plenty to do,” says Jennifer. The festival will have bands, food trucks, dozens of vendors, pumpkin races, activities for children, a community talent show, a dance-a-thon, and more.
Henryetta Hallow will be on October 17, 2026 from 11am to 7pm at City Gazebo Park, located at the corner of S 4th and W Moore. Entry to the festival is free and many of the activities inside the new fall festival will be free. Follow Henryetta Hallow on Facebook for updates on the festival and future requests for festival participants, sponsors, and volunteers. If you are interested in signing up as a vendor (vendor fee is $50 for a 10 x 10 booth), you can click here to fill out the form. The best way to contact Jennifer about the new fall festival is by email at he*************@***il.com.
