As the holiday season begins, First Family Federal Credit Union is asking the community to help them give back with their "Our Family Can!" program.
Canned food donations will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 11 at 402 E. Main St. in Henryetta.
First Family president David Dykes said to motivate contributions, donators will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 First Family Visa Gift Card. "Any amount of donated items will be eligible to enter," he added. All food donations from the Henryetta location will be given to the Lions Club Christmas Baskets Program.
The First Family canned food drive has become an annual tradition that even the employees have grown accustomed to.
First Family Teller Dayna Harrison says, "One of the highlights as an employee of FFFCU is being able to help our community." First Family hopes to double the amount of donations this year resulting in more families having a joyous season.
