A reward up to $5,000 is being offered for information regarding the murder of a Beggs woman.
rebecca hamiltonRebecca Hamilton, 62, was shot and killed by an apparent intruder at her home Oct. 17, 2015. She had been at a softball tournament then went home and apparently walked into her home and surprised the murderer.
The Oklahoma Reward System has authorized the reward up to $5,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons for the murder.
A task force consisting of several area law enforcement organizations including the Henryetta police department, has been looking into the crime.
"Anyone with information that could help solve Becky's murder is encouraged to contact the Okmulgee County Sheriffs Office Tip Line at 918-516-8332," said Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice.
