Sharon K. Warner died Jan. 16, 2016. She was born in Kansas City, Kans., April 26, 1945 to Edgar and Florence Blickenstaff. She was 70 years old.
Sharon grew up in Smith County Kans., until 1955 when she moved to Furnas County Neb., where her parents farmed. She graduated from Norton High School in 1963 and later graduated from cosmetology school in McCook Neb. During this time, she met Dale L. Warner and they were united in marriage in 1964. They made their home West of Wilsonville until 1967 when they moved to Hendley to farm. In 1983 they moved to Lebanon Neb., where she worked for Burns Laboratory. In 1986 Sharon and Dale became over the road truck drivers until 1993 when they moved to Bozeman Montana. Sharon and Dale then moved to Weleetka in 1997 where they raised cattle and farmed. Sharon remained on the farm until her death. They were married for 51 years.
Sharon was a member of the Weleetka First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters and their husbands; Sheila and Cline Worlow of Weleetka and Gina and Shay Wise of Midland, Tex.; five grandchildren: Caul, Justice and Bailee Worlow and Shaylyn and Kenzie Wise; one brother and wife, Lowell and Ardyus Blickenstaff of Smith Center, Kans.; three sisters in law, Barbara Blickenstaff of Lebanon, Frances Warner of Lebanon, Betty Warner of McCook: one sister in law and husband Danny and Larry Blackman of Bartley, Neb.; a brother in law and wife, Gail and Lori Warner of Holbrook, Neb.; many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Warner, her parents, Florence and Edgar Blickenstaff, and brother, Duane Blickenstaff.
Funeral services and interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Nebraska at a later date.
