| One of the final steps in the initial Main Street tennis court project was completed Sunday. A wind sceen now encloses the south side of the courts providing some relief from errant gusts while players are busy. The next stage for the project will be construciton of a covered pavilion on the east side. Funds for that portion of hte project are currently being raised from private donations. The courts are expected to start seeing heavy use this spring as HHS tennis players get in practice then host several tournaments. On March 26, an official ribbon cutting ceremony is going to be held at the tnnis courts celebrating the end of the nearly 12-month-long project. |
