Tony Free, a resident of Sand Springs, died March 25, 2016 at the age of 51. He was born Sept. 4, 1964 in Checotah to Ray and Brenda (Burns) Free. He was a graduate of Charles Page High School and was a self-employed machine took technician.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Bud and Mildred Free. Maternal Grandparents; Bill and Wanda Burns and Omie Burns. Aunt Reba Glover
He is survived by his two children; Chelsey and her husband Mike Orcutt and granddaughter Emma Kate from Sperry  and Wesley Ray Free and wife Sophie from Fountain, Colo.; brother: Jeffery Free and wife Diana from Porter: niece Kendra Kay and husband Bruce from Bristow; father and mother: Ray and Brenda Free from Hanna; very special friend, Debbie Vanderpool Weaver from Tulsa; uncles: Charles and wife Donna Free, Harold Martin, Bullet Burns and George Burns; aunts: Nadine Kennedy, Edith Nester, Medie Christmas, Mexicania Kennedy and Carrie Lou Dowling and a cousin Mike Burns. And many other relatives.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Mellette Cemetery in McIntosh County. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
