The final slate of candidates for county, state and federal offices is set after the filing period closed at 5 Friday afternoon.
There will be two races on the June 28 primary ballots with two democrats filing for the court clerk and district 2 commissioner seats.
For court clerk, Elizabeth G. Frost and Charly Lynn Criner have put their names before the voters. Incumbent district 2 commissioner Robert Allen Hardridge has drawn Ronald Clay Morrow as an opponent.
Rebecca Sue Thomas will take her seat as county clerk after no one filed against her.
The sheriff's race will not be determined until April 28 when a protest will be heard in district court.
Incumbent Eddy Rice filed a protest against independent candidate Christopher Jason Baumann. He is claiming Baumann has not lived in the county for the required six month period prior to the filing date.
The primary election will also see seven people looking for the District 16 state representative position. They include Democrats: Anna Dearmore, Okmulgee, Brenda S. Golden, Okmulgee, and Ronnie Kell, Boynton; Republicans: Scott Fetgatter, Okmulgee, James Bo Delso, Henryetta, Charles Kanada, Henryetta and Doug Longnecker, Broken Arrow.
