Richard Thompson "Snow" Harley, Sr., died July 3, 2016 in Henryetta at the age of 64.  Richard was born in Henryetta Nov. 2, 1951 to Ceaetta Harjo and Pauline Harley.
He grew up in the Henryetta area and following his schooling joined the U.S. Army where he faithfully served for two years from 1972 to 1974, including a tour of duty in Germany. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Richard returned home and married the love of his life, Cindy Joann McNac in August of 1976 in Hanna. Richard received training as a heavy equipment operator and completed an auto mechanics course.   Richard was also an accomplished welder.  He was a longtime member of the Yardeka Baptist Church.  
He is preceded in death by his mother, his father, and an infant baby sister.
Richard is survived by a son, Richard Harley, Jr. and wife Audra of Okmulgee; four grandchildren: Chase, Rachel, Catherine and Madalynn Harley, all of Okmulgee; two brothers: Robert Soloman of Okmulgee and Speedy Harley of Okmulgee; two nieces and four nephews; and an ex-wife, Cindy Harley of Okmulgee; as well as other extended family and many good friends.
Viewing will be held at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta Thursday, July 7, 2016 from, 11 a.m.m until 8 p.m.
A Wake Service will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in McIntosh County.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow immediately at Soloman Family Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Sulphur, John Wayne Tulsa, Billy Ray Harley, Jaydee Harley, Barney Ingram, and Paul Pigeon.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Yargee and William Hawkins.
