Glenn Dale Mulliniks, a longtime resident of Dustin, died Feb. 8, 2017 in Eufaula at the age of 69. Glenn was born Jan. 1, 1947 in Okemahto Sidney Glenn Mulliniks and Lelia Mae (Corley) Mulliniks.
He grew up and attended school in Oklahoma. Following his high school education, Glenn joined the U.S. Navy where he served for two years before his discharge. Glenn married the love of his life, Carol Ann VanWinkle in Boone County, Ark., June 8, 1991. They remained happily married for over 25 years. Glenn worked most of his life as an accomplished welder and heavy equipment operator. Glenn and Carol were longtime members of the Texas Banner Church, near Holdenville.
Glenn is preceded in death by his father, Sidney Glenn Mulliniks.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home in Dustin; his mother, Lelia Mulliniks of Wetumka; four daughters: Buffy Mulliniks of Georgia, Lisa Faye Allmon and husband Glenn of Springfield, MO, Carley Maugness and husband C.W. of Okemah, and Amanda Spivey of Buffalo, Tex.; two sons: Johnny Mulliniks and Jimmy Mulliniks, both of Georgia; grandchildren, Justin Mulliniks, Greg Allmon, Christopher Allmon, Josie Mulliniks, and Katie Mulliniks; one great grand child; a brother, David Mulliniks and wife Rose of Sasakwa; a sister, Vickie Bendfield and husband Mike of Georgia; several nieces and nephews, cousins, other extended family and many good friends.
Following cremation, the family will have a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Oklahoma
