Bobby Brison, a longtime Henryetta and Pharoah resident, died Jan. 5, 2014 at his home in Pharoah at the age of 66. Bobby was born Sept. 13, 1947 in Henryetta to R.T. Brison and Doris Taber Brison.
He grew up in Henryetta, attended Henryetta Public Schools and graduated from Henryetta High School. After graduation, Bobby joined the US Army and served a tour of duty in Viet Nam. After his honorable discharge, Bobby began working in the pipeline business and worked on the Alaskan pipeline. Bobby spent many years refining his skills as a team roper and steer wrestler.
Bobby is preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by a son, Brandon Evans and wife Crystal of Katy, Texas; and, the biggest joy of his life, his grandson Trent Evans, also of Katy; by numerous cousins and other extended family; and many, many good friends from his school years and the rodeo community.
A memorial service for Bobby will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Integrity Chapel with Jason Page officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cleo Robinson, Dennis McAlester, Jimmy Guynes, and Jerry Page.
